We made our mark!
Last week, Monarch students helped celebrate International Dot Day, a celebration of the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds. We read the story about a young girl who doesn't believe she can draw, until her teacher tells her to "make a mark and see where it takes you." Students watched a video of Reynolds creating a dot universe
and then they got to work, creating some of their own. We had a blast and you can see some of our students' work on our library art gallery wall as well as in our windows. We hope you like it!
