Author Visit - Mike Graf

Monarch welcomed author (and weatherman) Mike Graf today for a fun visit. Students were given a virtual tour of some of our national parks and Mr. Graf talked about his realistic fiction series, Adventures with the Parkers. In the series, the Parker family (who is from San Luis Obispo) go on various adventures in different national parks. Mr. Graf used to live in the area and taught 4th and 5th grade in the county. He also filled in as a weatherman for KSBY and KCOY. Students really enjoyed his presentation and got excited to visit our nation's parks.
