April is National Poetry Month!

And that means it's time for Poetry Out Loud (5th grade) and Book Spine Poetry (4th grade). Students had so much fun with these activities!

Other classes joined in on the poetry action by reading a variety of picture/poetry books, including Won Ton and Chopstick, Otto the Owl Who Loved Poetry, and Shel Silverstein's A Giraffe and a Half.
